The body requires many different vitamins and minerals that are crucial for both body development and preventing diseases. These vitamins and minerals are often refers to as Micronutrients.

A nutritional deficiency occurs when the body doesn’t absorb the necessary amount of nutrients which can lead to a variety of health problems…which includes digestion problem, stomach disorders, stunted or defective bone growth and even dementia.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), over 30% of the world’s population is anaemic due to iron deficiency which is considered as the most widespread nutritional deficiency worldwide among children and adults.

A poor diet that lacks essential nutrients or medication that impairs absorption is the main causes of nutritional deficiencies.

The symptoms of a nutritional deficiency depends on the amount of  nutrients the body lacks which includes; pale skin, fatigue, weakness, depression which can affect the body.

Most problems caused by nutritional deficiencies stop once you are no longer a deficient through the help of parental administration, dietary changes which helps to maintain a good living.
