Dr Stephen Takyi, Planner and Lecturer at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has expressed a dissatisfaction on how voters register has taken the center stage of radio and television discussions at this point in time.

According to the Planner, it is a delibrate attempt of the two major political parties to divert our attention at this time they should be explaining to the citizenry their plans and policies ahead of 2020 general  elections.

“At the time that they are supposed to explain to us the plans they have for this country, they are rather fighting over whether or not to do new voter’s register. Personally, I think this is a delibrate attempt to divert attention because collation of voter’s register is very simple job if we have taken data base seriously or better still National Identification Authority (NIA) registration….must we make noise over voter’s in every election year?” he fumed.

On Otec 102.9 FM morning show program ‘Nyansa P)’, he enquired about some relevant issues he thinks has been ignored because of Coronavirus pandemic.

“What is the status of Commenda sugar factory?, How is Gold Coast security of Papa Kwesi Nduom and it’s customers?, What is the government doing about Mens Gold and it’s customers?”.
