Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) Secretariat owes less than 10% of trainees, Dennis Opoku Katakyie, self acclaimed National president of NABCO Trainees Association of Ghana (NABTAG) has said on Monday.

An interview sited by ayamultimedia.com ‘A M News’ indicates the optimism of Opoku Katakyie claiming NABCO Secretariat doing everything possible to make the program successful but failure of some trainees providing required information and adhering to directives on time causes delay in payment.

“Management of NABCO is doing everything possible within their powers and has introduced new payment system which has improved the payment for more than 90%.”

In his view, most people complaining about non payment of their monthly stipends and long standing arrears are not genuine trainees but rather doom sayers who have joined various groups through an open link to cause confusion, downplay and to seek the downfall of the initiative.

Authorities and Implementation partners should consider our hard work and impact as trainees for the past one and half years at the various offices and make us permanent. He added.

Background
