Former Ashantigold pillar in defence has issued a resounding advice to all upcoming footballers indicating the essence of schooling.
“At least secondary school level should be the least a footballer should attain. During our time, we couldn’t attend school at lot making it difficult to speak in native language English which costed us in some areas of our career.”
The versatile centre back who played for Italian clubs Udinese and Bellinzona continued by stating the importance of investments by footballers during their playing days.
“It is so pathetic how many talented players struggle after football all in the name of shunning investments in their peak period of football. The current crop of players should try and replicate investing in all jurisdictions of their life so as to prevent any future struggles.”
