Life, they say is a war, is indeed a war to squatters of Old Fadama in the Greater-Accra Region when they woke up and met their structures being demolished by AMA authorities at the time the country is in a partial lock down as a result of the novel coronavirus.
Information picked indicates that squatters have now resorted into sleeping in the open air after the demolishing of their homes.
Ghanaians have took to social media, condemned the actions of AMA as inhuman to have taken such cruel move at the time the nation is in partial lock down.
The demolishing exercise which took place on Wednesday 15 April, 2020, came to residents living in the area as a deliberate attempt to expose their lives in danger…and registered their plight as they might possible contact the covid-19 because they don’t know where to stay.
As hopes being lost, they are now appealing to the president to come to their aid where temporary structures could be provided for them to enable them observes the partial lock down.
